Terms
Last updated 18 September 2026
By adding Duit Lah to a Telegram group or messaging it directly, you agree to what follows. It is short because there is not much to it.
Who you are dealing with
Duit Lah is operated by Muhammad Amirul Azhan Bin Rashid, Selangor, Malaysia. Contact: amirul1998@gmail.com. These terms are governed by Malaysian law.
What the service is
A Telegram bot that records what you say you spent and answers questions about it. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting software, not tax advice, and not a bank. Nothing it produces is a substitute for a receipt or a professional opinion.
It will sometimes be wrong
Duit Lah transcribes speech. Speech recognition misreads numbers, accents, background noise and merchant names. That is why every entry is shown to you before it is saved and can be corrected with one tap, and why the original transcript is kept.
Checking what it recorded is your job. Sums are computed from what is in the ledger, so an unnoticed mistake in an entry becomes a wrong total. Do not rely on a figure you have not looked at, particularly when settling money between people.
Your account and your group
- Everyone in a group shares one ledger and can see everything in it. Add people knowingly.
- Whoever pays for a plan pays for the group, not for themselves.
- Do not use it to store anything illegal, or anyone’s data without their knowledge.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or abuse the service, including the free tier.
Free and paid
The free tier allows 100 entries a month and the last 7 days of history. Paid plans are billed in Telegram Stars in 30 day periods, because that is the only period Telegram offers. A plan covers one group.
If a plan lapses you drop to free limits. Nothing is deleted. Your history is still there and comes back when you subscribe again.
Prices can change. If they do, the change applies to the next period and the bot will tell you before it charges.
Payments
Payments run through Telegram Stars. Telegram handles the money; no card details reach Duit Lah. Refunds are covered on the refunds page.
Stopping
Remove the bot from the group, or send /deletemydata to erase everything. Cancel a subscription with /mysubs. Cancelling stops the next charge; the period you have already paid for runs to its end, because Telegram does not prorate.
Availability and liability
This is a small service run by one person. It may be unavailable, may lose a message, and may be discontinued. It is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid in the last 30 days, which for most users is nothing.
Nothing here removes rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
